Temple School was having a stationary drive, MUN decided to make a contribution. We had lots of extra bags last year’s COMUN conference  that weren’t being used so we decided to donate them to the temple school. We had a variety of donations however majority of which was stationary with the rest of them being bags or books. The whole group was involved in this contribution, we all split up and had our own jobs to make sure that we were able to get them packed as soon as possible. Gathering all the donations was a bit difficult because there was so much things, we had to make sure that all the boxes we well organized and had everything they needed so we had to separate everything and then pack everything evenly into each box. It took us an hour to pack everything into the boxes, we then carried it all down to the primary counselor’s office.

This donation is association with my creativity aspect for CAS as it is under COMUN after schools activities group. However it also has a correlation to service as we made large donation to the Temple School service group, we are making this donation to help children in need by supplying them with items that they can use to help them enhance or excel in their learning. With the use of these small items it gives the kids the opportunity to experience and learn new ways of learning. To summarize, I am very proud our group for being apart and making a sizable donation to the Temple School service. I hope that COMUN continues to donate towards drives like this and help our community, as donation drives like this help bring us as a community closer together.
