Activity 2021

Over the course of this year so far I have been significantly more active than I have for a while. Last time I made a post addressing activity I felt that I was heading down the right path. Reflecting on it now I’m happy with the progress that I’ve been able to make within that period of time. I made a changes to my meal plan that was more along the lines of a balanced diet. Furthermore I also made a few changes in my fitness routine since my last post. My new routine is as follows:

  • 15 minutes of sprinting on the treadmill
  • 12 x leg press (for 4 sets)
  • 12 x leg extension ( for 4 sets)
  • 10 x leg curl (for 4 sets)
  • 12 x chest press (for 4 sets)
  • 10 x fly machine (for 4 sets)
  • 10 x shoulder press (for 4 sets)
  • 8 x back extension (for 4 sets)
  • 10 x lat pulldown (for 4 sets)
  • 12 x bicep curls ( for 4 sets)
  • 12 x tricep curl machine (for 4 sets)
  • 20 x kettle bell swings (for 5 sets)
  • 8 x dumbbell overhead lunges (for 4 sets)
  • 10 minutes of sprinting on treadmill

I found that these changes to my schedule made a significant difference. In addition I felt that working out with others makes a huge difference, as they help you feel more motivated and drive to do better. I still have a long way to go in terms of being at a level of fitness that I want to be, however I think I’m progressing on the right track. As a opposed to last time I feel more motivated and confident, moreover I found being active and staying on my routine to be extremely enjoyable and a great way to relieve stress.
