I took upon the challenge of learning music theory, something I’ve never done before. The group 6 subject I’ve chosen for my DP years is Chemistry and this way, I wasn’t completely in touch with my creative side. So, I decided to do music outside of school. Starting theory was a bit of a challenge for me because it did require for me to be able to read and write musical notes really quickly but the more  started working on it, the easier it was for me.

I will be taking my Grade 2 theory exam in May. This is demanding but I will make sure to balance my preparation for SAT, theory exam and IB exams as well. The learning outcome I want to achieve through this is Commitment and Perseverance.
