Quarantine and Creativity (and Service?)

I’ve been stuck at home for almost a month because of the coronavirus pandemic and it has been, well, one hell of an experience to say the least. Ever since we got to know the IB final examinations have been canceled, it has given me a lot of time to go back to things I’m interested in and I wasn’t able to do because of my tight schedule. One of the very first things I picked up again was cooking and the catalyst was a biology project which required me to make bread.

I like making a lot of things but because of the lockdown, we haven’t been able to get a lot of ingredients that we use so we’re trying to use whatever we have diligently by rationing it. So it isn’t the best time to pick something like this up again, but again, I’m learning how to make basic survival food with limited ingredients and that’s a skill on its own. So here are a few things worth showing that I’ve made during the lockdown:

I’ve also been trying my hand at drawing a lot and I’m not going to say I’m any good at it, but it is very therapeutic. Here’s something I’ve made

The learning outcome I wanted to achieve was:

LO2: I wanted to work on developing my creative skills over the lockdown so I picked up things I’m really interested in.

I’m going to practice my music lessons next. Wish me luck.
