I love being active, playing sports such as Track and Field, and occasionally Basketball. However, due to COVID-19 that isn’t possible. Consequently, I am now doing bodyweight exercises at home to keep active, and to increase my strength and conditioning, as that was something I didn’t focus on earlier. The aforementioned exercises include yoga, bodyweight exercises such as dips, pushups, pullups. For cardio, I am also doing activities such as skip rope. To avoid injuries, and increase flexibility, I also stretch every day. As of now, I am currently doing 3-5 sets of 5-8 reps of the previously mentioned bodyweight exercises twice or thrice a week.

Whilst it is a bit hard to exercise alone and without any equipment, I still love to see myself progress in exercises. It feels amazing to be able to do one extra rep or one extra set of pullups, or any other exercise; it shows I’ve clearly improved. In addition to this, you feel really good for the entire day after exercising, thus I really enjoy exercising

Furthermore, by exercising, I am fulfilling the “Action” of Creativity, Action, and Service. Moreover, I also fulfill the Learning Outcomes 3 and 4 (LO3 being planning a CAS experience, and LO4 being persevering and following a CAS experience). This is because I plan my workout and commit to following it twice or thrice every week.
