HOUSING AND HABITAT HOMERUN 2018

The Housing and Habitat service conducted on the annual HomeFun. The HomeRun was project launched in order to earn money to help Fund our current and future projects. This year we the H&H service aim to use money that raised to help fund our current project named Project Uplift. With Project Uplift, we aim to build types of furniture such as tables and chairs and send it to schools in the Anuradhapura region of Sri Lanka. This year we decided to partner with the Care for Paws service group Moving on,  The Housing and Habitat annual HomeRun began at 4:30 in the morning on November 17th.

The day began at 4:00am, this is because we all had to help set up for the event, we all weren’t the happiest to wake up and work but we all had to do it. we set out on the running route around 6 to set up all the tables with water and put all the signs. After that was completed we then proceeded to do another round of the track and set everyone at their stations (Tables) and get everything else sorted for the run. Then at 7:30 sharp the Housing and Habitat annual HomeRun finally began.

The Run went very smoothly. We all were stressed out but at the end of all of it, but we pulled through and gave OSC and great HomeRun minus and of the many Hiccups we had during it.
