With this being my final year as an OSC student, as per tradition our senior grade will be performing a dance spectacle and compete against the many other talents present at the event. What this event? Well, it is the Talent extravaganza at OSC named Gecko Factor. Gecko Factor as I said before is the annual talent show in the school. in this event, many of the other students who are accredited for the talents in music, dance, and various other talents gather under one roof and showcase what they are made off. Following the Xfactor style, each contest will be judged by the 3 preselected judges (teachers), and the end of the night 3 students will take home the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

WELL, this year as per tradition we had to do the annual grade 12 dance as mentioned before, normally the grade 12s would do a cringe-worthy dance without the intention of winning anything and to just make the dance as cringe-worthy as possible. However, this year we were not going with that mentality, we wanted to win it. With that in mind came the ABOSULETY GRUELING practices that were led by our supreme lead… I mean good friend Rashmi. we had to memorize around 6 different routines all with different themes and songs and perform in like 3 weeks.  So it was pretty dang rushed, BUT all in all the dance was spectacular we were the talk of the performance and all though we didn’t win I feel that we were able to put on a banger performance one last time as grade and as a family. This performance was also a bit of tear-jerker because it was my final performance on stage and also this dance marked the completion of all the high school performance Opportunites. I have finally performed in Senior Production, Winter Gala, Spring Gala, and of course Gecko Factor. So this was my farewell tour as a performer, actor, singer, and dancer at OSC.
