My first big task since joining Gecko Net was to make a trailer of the annual play our school does, which was Oliver this year. It was quite a challenge, as I was working in a group with Ayush and Calvin, and we all needed to co-ordinate to figure out who would be available for recording, and who would edit what. Nonetheless, we made an amazing video that showcased Oliver. I helped primarily in recording footage, and a bit in the editing such as selecting the background song and so forth.

This was quite a learning experience, and I addressed the “Service” strand of CAS. Also, I addressed multiple learning outcomes. These include LO2, as I developed my skill of recording footage and taking photos. I also addressed LO5 as I had to work collaboratively to successfully make the trailer for Oliver.
