CAS Goals 22-23

During last year I got to experience and learn more about CAS and what it offers. Through service and sports I learned how to contribute to society through various segments of CAS.

Creativity: During lockdowns, when we weren’t able to leave our homes I had time to mainly work on the creativity aspect of CAS. So during that time I spent my time learning something more about pottery as well as cooking.

Activity: As for activity, I did volleyball. Which although due to COVID we were not able to organise SAISA, we got to practice on our skills and even play a couple of games with other local schools.

Service: Last year I was involved in the service Care for Paws and I plan on continuing this year. Care for Paws allowed me to learn about the urgency of sterilising stray dogs in Sri Lanka and how that both benefits the dogs themselves but also the citizens of Sri Lanka.

CAS project ideas: For this year, I plan on continuing both Care for Paws and volleyball, joining senior production as well as starting a CAS project. I didn’t have much time to give the CAS project a proper thought, so I don’t have a set idea yet. However, I was thinking of joining a group of friends from my grade to be reading buddies for G1s.
