For this year’s Gala, which was organised for the 8th of December, the French class decided to join the concert and share a piece of what we learned in class. We sang the song called, La Chanson des Restos, a song sung in the name of the Restos du Coeur, a charity group that provides many services for the homeless such as shelter and free meals. Since the theme for this year’s Gala was HOPE, we thought it would be a good idea to inform the audience about this organisation and some of the initiatives they take to help those who seek help and encourage them to do so as well.

The experience itself allowed me to feel more confident in my French pronunciation, and it was a nice opportunity to spread hope and the positivity of this organisation.
