Kambala School Visit from Australia – TOK

On the 7th December 2018, a group of 13 female students from the Kambala all girls School joined us for a day of TOK sports and. Kambala School is a girls’ school in Sydney, Australia that had come to Sri Lanka on a school trip. We started off by playing a few games in order to break the ice in Sarongs. Afterwards, we did a TOK exercise related to food and other topics regarding knowledge which deepened our understanding and made us open-minded thinkers. And then we moved onto cooking traditional Sri Lankan meals with the help of parent of OSC DP1 students, which ended up being delightfully delicious. After that, we played sports like cricket, volleyball and basketball in order to build team skills and communication through exercise. The day overall was a great success and I made some new friends and new bonds as well.
