SAISA Volleyball Training

Sport is a preserver of health- Hippocrates

 

with the new school year starting, one of the most competitive sports seasons begins along with it.  “What is it you might ask ” well that sports season is the SAISA Volleyball season.  I have been playing volleyball now for 2 years and I have developed a certain level of skill for it. Volleyball has been a very important sport to me, as it was the sport that took me on my first SAISA. Anyways SAISA training began.

 

SAISA Volleyball training began on the 14th of August on a Tuesday. The session began with our two Coaches, Coach Sue and Coach Janaka briefing down on where volleyball is and what we are trying to achieve from the tournament. we then transferred into our warm up which consisted of running a lap around the court and Dynamic stretches. We then moved on to passing and hitting drills, which we then moved onto serving drills. Finally, we ended our session by having practice games against the team
