Sports during Quarantine

During quarantine, I have been continuing my exercise plans by playing sports in my house. One of these sports is basketball, which I have continued to play in my garden despite there not being a lot of space to play in. I have completed numerous basketball workouts by finding them online and planning out what days I would do each drill on. I have had a lot of success doing this and have noticed my improvement over the last few months. I have been playing basketball almost everyday and am having fun challenging myself to do tough drills and workouts.

Another sport I have been doing a lot is swimming, which I hadn’t really done before quarantine began. I have been swimming for long periods of time which is very relaxing at first but becomes challenging towards the end. I have enjoyed doing this new sport and will continue this throughout the summer.

These sports have kept me busy but I have still allocated time to stretching afterwards. This is very important and will help me stay healthy and reduce the risk of injury. Stretching is essential and I will continue to work on my flexibility throughout the summer.

Despite there not being much to do during quarantine, I have made sure that I continue exercising to stay healthy. Exercising also relieves a lot of stress which is another reason I value it a lot, especially after a long day of school. I will continue to make use of my house to exercise and will log about my exercise again after summer.
