The Home Run

The Home run is a fundraiser that is hosted by the housing and Habitat service group to raise money for their service in order to get supplies such wood and other buildings materials as they purpose to supply for less fortunate with wooden chairs and tables etc. The Home run had a Rs.500 fee and around 120 participated this year. raising over rs.60,000 lkr for their cause. The Run it self was new this year as they changed it up this year from the old route that everyone had come accustomed to. The route was around the back of school and just when i thought i was done the person who was handing out water was like no no no.. my friend you still have a 2km to go and i knew something did feel right becuase it did feel pretty short. The second half of the run I was just thinking about why I didn’t TAKE THIS BIKE, I live so close to school I could’ve easily biked. The Worst part was afterwards I had track and field so I knew I was in for a long long longgggg day.
