My CAS Goals (October 26th, 2020)

 

My Activity Goal will focus and revolve around me continuing my Training and commitment to the national Swim team in Sri Lanka. through this goal, I am trying to maintain fitness through intense and competitive training with the Killer whales Aquatics national swim team. I will maintain swim goals that are orientated towards my specific events and their time (eg, 100m free, 50mfree ).  I will maintain commitment with 2 hours of swimming every day from 5-7 am 6 days a week. Another Activity Goal would be due to covid-19, traveling and meeting in groups has been highly restricted therefore the consistency of practice being held and the training schedule has been highly effected therefore in order to maintain fitness I will be doing home workouts every day 6 times a week in order to maintain a similar training schedule as I had with swimming.

 

My Creativity Goal focuses on  2 different projects and skills I want to work on and develop. My First Project would be to create personal works of art and cover a wall in my room in them because of Covid-19 I have been spending a lot of time in my room and realized that my room is very plain. Therefore in order to make my room a more creative space and more personal I thought it would be a great idea to showcase my art skill in my room. inorder to do that I thought about having an entire wall to display my art. therefore for this experience I will create multiple artworks small and large and cover my wall with them. in this process I will be trying new media’s in my artwork as well as new styles of drawing. My Second project would be focusing on experiencing the modeling industry and doing a few modeling jobs since I have recently joined a modeling agency called “The Agency Sri Lanka”.  though this project my goal is to improve my confidence, and body confidence as those are a few aspects I struggle with. but through this, I will learn to become more confident myself and the way I look. uring this product the quantifiable goal would be to do a few modeling jobs and see what a modeling agency is like.

 

My Service Goal would be to engage more with the local community and use my skills in order to help. therefore I have joined the service group Gecko.inc. In this service we work with a small local primary school and teach the children how to swim and water safety. during this service I hope to help these children with their water skills and safety as well as improve my communication with them through the improvement of my Sinhala.
