Family quiz night!

As Christmas approaches the longing to go back home to family becomes increasingly harder to bear. Normally by now I would be packing up my bags and getting ready to go to the UK for a few weeks, meeting friends and family, of course, everything is much different now. To make these times easier, I joined a family zoom quiz night with my grandparents and cousins. It was a great time to spend time with my family who I haven’t seen in almost a year now. It made me realize how important those times are and how they should be cherished (We also managed to get the scoop on the latest vaccine news since my auntie is working in that department, so that’s an added plus). Seeing them, whilst making it harder because now I want to go back more than ever, really lifted my spirits. It gave me a new perspective on the whole situation, it made it feel more like something we were all going through, which definitely puts me at ease, and makes me feel stronger to deal with the coming months.  I think I managed to demonstrate initiative and planning through this exercise, whilst also showing commitment.
