What is Yearbook?

Yearbook Is an Afterschool activity that works on creating the Schools yearbook for that year. We meet up every Tuesday after school to either discuss ideas and concepts for the yearbook or to work on the creation of the pages. Each member of the yearbook afterschool activity is given a select number of pages to create and have to make it over the course of the 2 semesters. How yearbook works normally is that the first semester is used to finalize themes and concepts behind the yearbook and the second semester is focused on making the pages that will go into the yearbook.

What we did so far.(semester 1)

1. In the first few session, we tried to decide the theme of this year’s yearbook. which we decided to be a chalkboard and retro theme.

2. we then went through already pre-existing chalkboard and retro templates and fonts and decided on which ones would best fit.

3. we also had a competition or the Yearbook cover, where we gave out specifications. we then waited for around 2 weeks and then voted on the yearbook cover of our choice out of the submissions

4.we then decide which theme would go where and decided to make the senior pages chalkboard and the rest of the yearbook retro themed.

5.we then assigned each other pages and started to get to work on our pages.
