QUARANTINE DIARIES 4- PHOTOGRAPHY?

Like I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I think that this period of lockdown serves as an opportunity to learn new things and unleash inner potentials to do things we didn’t know we could. For example, I decided to start taking photos and making videos of things in my garden and in the sky. Despite not being able to observe the sunsets as well as I would from the beach, I can still sometimes catch a glance of the sun rising or setting from my window.

As a part of my ESS class, we had to take time-lapse videos of the clouds, the sky, and their surroundings. Despite taking this as a task initially, I then began to look more at my garden and the beautiful plants it has and I started to take pictures and videos of it. I really enjoy taking and editing pictures, which is something I didn’t really know up until this quarantine.

I also switched from my phone to my camera, which I hadn’t used in ages, in order to take more high-quality pictures. I began to really enjoy this and do it as a pastime.

I hope to keep taking photographs and maybe even start pursuing different types of art forms and activities that allow my creativity to flow.
