I was placed into ensemble group 2 were I wasn’t expecting much from it as I was really nervous and not expecting to make any new friends. However, we as an ensemble participated in workshops over the course of the 3-day program and did group exercises and socialized, making us a group that any person could consider family. Honestly, I was afraid my ensemble not being nearly as social or as the students, I travelled with from OSC. On the contrary, I believe them to be equal under the same light. I was lucky enough to be working with loving and caring people, who shared interests as me such as theatre and music and that most of us were part of the IB. If anything, I felt empowered by them and had a constant urge to learn more from them. We were a part of a variety of workshops conducted by invitees to the program. Masterclasses on the art of Butto and Shadow puppetry were conducted for us to gain more understanding towards them. I brought back to my theatre class in OSC so much knowledge I had acquired and felt even more confident stepping back into my life as a new person.
