Home Run (Pt.2; 2023)

On Saturday the 11nth of March,  my service group, Housing and Habitat hosted a charity event called the Home Run. We planned, designed and set up a 5km run/walk from school and back to raise 50 thousand rupees for materials to donate to local schools around the area. The event was really successful with over 50 participants and 0 casualties.

Not only did I help plan the route, I set up a stand and made sure runners were able to go the right direction safely. I was glad that I could learn and contribute to my service, I am sad that this will be my last home run here at OSC. This image shows me at Sofia at our stand (taken by the school photographer).
