Identify own strengths and develop areas for growth:
Although I use to swim regularly and swim about 10 km each time, due to me staying in Turkey for 6 months and because of winter and covid the pools being closed I have not swam in a long time. Although swimming is one of my strengths I realized I have lost some of my progress that is why I decided to start swimming regularly again to get back my old progress and even reach 12 km until summer.
Demonstrate that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process:
After even one day of swimming, I felt very sore, as I have not swum for a long time but I plan on containing to swim three times a week to get my progress back. I realized that I needed more breaks than usual because I was running out of breath faster however I believe with regular practice these challenges can be overcome. However, as I have been running regularly when I was in Turkey, I was swimming faster in freestyle as I finished 5 minutes earlier than I used to.
