Antigone NOW!

On Thursday and Friday the 1st and 2nd of December, OSC held their first production in 3 years, Antigone Now! This modern interpretation of Sophocles’ world famous tragedy was an extremely interesting play and it was an amazing experience to be a part of. We had been practicing for the play since the end of September and while the practices had not gone great, we had really managed to up our game as we got closer to the date. Overall, the production went extremely well and it was an astonishing experience.

Learning outcomes:

Identify your own strengths and develop areas for personal growth: Productions have always been a passion of mine so it was great to improve upon this aspect.

Demonstrate the skills and recognize the benefits of working collaboratively: Whilst working with certain people was extremely tough at the start, we managed to overcome these differences as a cast and worked well collaboratively. As I was a part of the chorus it was extremely important to work collaboratively.
