Service – Gecko Net

During the past 4 weeks, gecko net has made a lot of progress. As a service, we created 3 media platforms that will hopefully reach a larger scale of audience. We created a youtube, tik tok and Instagram account where will create short videos which will inform the audience about what is happening in the OSC community in a 30 second to a minute video. We wanted to keep our videos short because by personal experience, no one wants to watch a 5 minutes long video that will lose the attention of the audience. Our purpose of the video is to inform and the only way we can to that is to grab the audience’s full attention. As a individual I focused on taking videos and photos which will be used in these videos and yearbook. I took videos and photos of services like care for paws, gecko inc, recycle and sustain and US peace corp. I took around 50 videos and photos of the selected services. As this was the beginning of a new school year I had to conduct interviews with all service group leader so they can inform the audience about what they do in the service and what their goal is.
