It was a quiet Tuesday morning on the 29th of December and while everyone was fast asleep, the Fauz family came to cause a Rukus. Yes that’s right the last activity we had done During the December holidays was going Kayaking down Bera Lake in Battaramulla right next to the Water Edge in the Centre of Colombo. This was a pretty intresting activity as we had to wake at 6.30 in the morning to reach there before it got too sunny. Now remember an activity of this nature requires a lot of Upper Body strength and let’s just say my family wasn’t in that good shape to achieve it. Because I was practically the only one who did this through going on the Borderlands trip back in grade 9 I thought this was honestly a piece of cake, ha Not :(. It was the worst. Literally the first round trying to get to get to the destination was so easy the problem was coming back, each time I bought the paddle to row water slowly started filling inside my boat making me stop halfway and emptying all the water inside boat and rowing back again. Of course One thing I would reflect from that journey is never waste all the energy in the first round because coming back would be a big task as you have wasted the energy in the first round.
