During the recent lockdown, I have had to continue my efforts in creativity at home through a variety of mediums. As mentioned in other blogs, I have become invested in music and piano, which I also can do by signing duets with my brother who also sings and plays piano. We recorded some duets and I also have started recording myself playing and singing as I feel this will help keep me accountable. My family in general loves to participate in a variety of creative activities which are musical, as well as cooking, baking, painting and decorating the house. For example, recently it was Vesak, and we decorated our house with bucket lanterns and oil lamps so that even though we could not go outside to see the lantern festival as we would have done in normal years, we were able to still mark the festival in our house. Another activity we did was baking cookies, as well as cooking. My mum has always been an incredible chef and so we have helped her with differetn recipes and Akhil and I have taken to baking. All in all these are some notable activites that have helped me stay creative, even within lockdwon.

Particularly in lockdown conditions, it is easy to feel isolated and lonely, but I have recognized the importance of working with and engaging with others. I spend almsot all of my time with my family and I have been doing most of my creative activities with my brother which I am very grateful for as it makes it a much better experience in difficult times.
