SGA meeting and signing off

Sheruni and I had a zoom call with Dr. Kiless and Ms. McQuillan considering SGA. We discussed many items on the agenda. It was engaging and fun to be a part of that conversation because I will not be continuing to do SGA but it was definitely a big part of my identity at OSC last year. The role of Vice-President didn’t come without responsibility and we planned on how and when we will be ready as a group to pass it onto our amazing OSC community members. I am truly thrilled about the assembly on Wednesday because we will be able to be one step closer to signing off as SGA 2019-2020. This whole experience was truly giving and it has shaped me into a better leader, organizer and most importantly a dedicated community member. I also attended the most recent board meeting and summarised the events in SGA which helped me reflect on our progress from last year to this and year and understand the importance of engaging in such activities like SGA because they really do help not only in leadership but they also help us build values, a sense of community, be better learners and be more organized. I will be able to apply these skills to all of my subjects.
