CAS goals
Service – My goal is to make more than 6 posters for my service Room To Read. To achieve this goal I will be responsible for poster-making in many upcoming events for Room to Read, as well as helping others in my service create posters. I decided to do this because I want to improve my poster making skills to make the best posters in school and because I want to be a role model in my service as I’m usually not as involved in the service as other members. I know I can achieve this if I participate in more poster creation for my service and if I practice my poster making skills every week.

Activity – My goal is to stick to a strict exercise regimen of 100 squats, 60 sit ups and 40 push ups every weekday (50 squats, 30 sit ups and 20 push ups for morning and evening). On weekends this will be increased to 150 squats, 90 sit ups and 60 push ups. To keep track of my progress I’ll use a calendar and put a tick mark on the date when I do my exercises (50 squats, 30 sit ups and 20 push ups for morning, afternoon and evening). If I miss a day of exercise I will distribute the uncompleted exercises throughout next week’s days (doing an extra 20 squats, 12 sit ups and 8 push ups every weekday). As I don’t usually exercise very often and don’t attend any physical ASA’s, this will help me stay fit and lead a healthier lifestyle as well as increasing my energy levels. It will also teach me the value of sticking to a strict plan as not doing the exercises will lead to a huge debt to pay later (I have already made this mistake, now I have to do more than 2000 push ups to catch up).
Creativity – My goal is to play at least three solo pieces for band. I don’t know which pieces I will play but they will be pieces I have practiced before. I want to do this because I have the perfect opportunity to play solo pieces for band and I want to do something of my own admission before I probably leave in the winter break.
