Philosophical Exhibition

Now that we’re in DP 2 and finished our TOK exhibition last May, it is about time we show what we completed to the DP 1s so they can get inspired what is up for them during X block on 4th September. TOK (Theory of Knowledge) is one of the DP subjects that’s in IB and it’s basically what it means to have knowledge. My exhibition was about finding 3 objects and understand the question if some knowledge belong only to particular communities of knowers.

Preparing + Presenting

From running to the student center getting materials to finding things to stick on the board as the pins were running out, preparing for this was probably the hardest and time consuming. However, in the end, it was all worth it even though I thought my photos and my titles were too small compared to everyone else’s.

After a long time stressing our the way my stall looked, it was time to present. A bunch of DP 1s and teachers walked over to me and wanted to hear my exhibition out. I got positive feedback and even got to answer many people’s questions after I was finished with presenting to certain audiences.

Reflection

It was an experience like the Personal Project we did in 10th grade, but with less people and not graded. However, it was a interesting experience nevertheless as I felt like a robot and needed water due to my mouth feeling dry after saying the same thing over and over again.
