Transcribing letter written at DP1 orientation

This letter was written just after our first day at our base camp for our three day, grade level, orientation trip. This was actually supposed to happen earlier in this year but got rescheduled due to weather issues. The letter was written because our teachers on the trip wanted us to write a letter to someone specific and tell them about what happened so far on the trip. The stuff below is what I wrote on my letter. I did fix up some stuff, for example on my actual letter I wrote river bank and after looking up what a river bank up its not what it actually was.

“Dear Parents,

Today we started with rafting and then we stopped at a sandy area at the side of the river, we then discussed about nature (rocks and leaves that’s all that needs to be said). After this we got back on the rafts and after a while we stopped again at another sandy area. In this area we left the rafts and went hiking to go canyoning. To finish off today’s journey we got to float back to camp down a river. Today was fun and I hope you’re also having fun.

Oliver.”
