Snorkeling Trip

During the December break, I was fortunate to go on a snorkeling trip with some friends and family nearby to the island I was staying at.

We Drove about 10minutes to another island called Kurumba, which was the first resort in the Maldives and known for large black tip reef sharks. As we got into the water there was a very strong current that we used to our advantage to the drift with the current for about 20 minutes till the boat picked us up again. This was a nice experience to just go with the flow and not fight against the current which would have not gone well, instead I was able to explore a bit of creativity with photography however the strong current did not help me take the most still of images however I was able to capture a picture of a smaller reef shark that was chilling with a pilot fish.

When going snorkeling I usually just experience the physical side and recreationally free dive down, but this time I was able to appreciate natures beauty and some really interesting marine life.
