My bedroom setup

For creativity I usually choose to do something visual. However, I decided to step into the music realm and give DJing a go after a friend told me how fun it is and lent me her Pioneer decks. She gave me a few tips on how to work the decks and digital software, after that I watched youtube tutorials in order to learn more. I am still learning a lot everyday. I have reached the point where I understand how everything works, I just need to work on my execution. I am having lots of fun with it, I have played some of my favourite sets for a few friends, however, I enjoy playing in my room alone more as it isn’t as stressful.

I definitely struggled and got frustrated at the start, but with perseverance, I think I have gotten the hang of it. This process has definitely made me appreciate the art alot more, as I dint fully understand mixing and how challenging it was before. I think that learning to Dj has made me want to try other things out that I normally wouldn’t have before. This is also a skill I don’t see myself letting go of and might be handy in the future.
