Online school has presented everyone with a reasonable amount of time to dedicate to their health and fitness. Walking is one of the most simple forms of exercise which can be the most effective. Recently, while experimenting, I found out that walking at an inclination of 12-13 and a speed of 3.5-4.5 with periodic running intervals (with increased speed) can be quite effective. In the span of 60 minutes, ≈450 calories can be lost (for reference, that is around a doughnut). Ever since discovering the effectiveness of these settings, I have incorporated it well into my fitness regime, doing 50-70 minute walks every day, if not every other day.
Muscle wise, walking mainly targets the legs therefore, a good exercise to do in order to ensure physcial balance is arm and ab exercises, swimming is one of the best forms of full-body exercise. Recently, I’ve been trying to involve myself more in swimming, it is my faovuirte sport, and the one I involved myself the most in as a child however, in the last 7 or so months my practice rate has declined. With the opening of places and the likeliness of going back to school a prospective goal of mine is to swim at my club more often.
