Preparing for Examinations

My goals are to finish the John Thompson books, and to make 2 minute piano piece.

I have been playing piano for 9 years, I started playing piano when I was in Grade 1 starting off with the first book of the John Thompson courses, then there was a year where I learnt only the theory of playing the piano, which is learning how to read notes, how to write notes. I also learned all the majors like C major, G major, D major, A major and B major. After that year I went back to doing the John Thompson books, I am so far in the 7 John Thompson book.

I have decided to start doing piano examinations, these examinations take a year to prepare and will be taken on December, to prepare I need to learn the note theory. Then I have to practice 4 piano pieces that will be used to test my reading and fingering.

I will be starting to practice the four pieces on February. While I am practicing those I will be studying the piano theory.
