Creativity:
I want to learn more lead skills on my guitar, such as sweep picking, improvisation on different scales, and legato picking. Every day, I will play a song with a solo which has these fast picking techniques and see my progress with the solo, and I will practice it for at least an hour and a half. I do have a tablature booklet with solos, and I do have YouTube as a source of tutorials for the techniques. I’m more of a rhythm player, but now that I am in the school’s rock band, I have been put in charge of lead playing, so I do genuinely have an interest in playing lead.
Activity:
I want to dedicate at least 45 minutes of my day to having a regular, but efficient workout routine, and that I workout my entire body equally. After every workout session for each of my body parts, I will attempt to time them and see if I need to increase the time or reduce it, but also keeping them all to the limit of 45 minutes. I do have the Time app which has the alarm feature. But there are websites where you can create your own workout timer. I do walking in the evening, but I feel like if I had a regular gym workout routine, then I would feel more healthier and active.
Service:
Since my service in school is Hope For Kids, my goal is to contribute to the group through donations of any kind. I will measure it by looking at the desired goal of donations, and then if it is divided into equal donations, then I will have my fair share of the donation. I have Ms. Tanuja Senanayake, and Ms. Stella Damir, the supervisors, who have the information regarding the donations.
