Badminton – Giving it a Try (November 10th, 2022)

So, I joined badminton. Yep. Right after service I head to the gym and play on with the teachers and Oliver. This was a decision I took after the 3 way conferences, when Mr. Lockwood noted that I needed to add something for activity. Thats when he asked me if I like badminton. So I said that I do have an interest in badminton. In that moment, he mentioned to me about how after service on Thursdays, the teachers and some students play badminton. I thought that maybe it sounded fun to do. So on the 10th of November, I finally started my first badminton session after service. I honestly enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. We all got good chuckles when playing as the lengths we took to get to the shuttlecock during games. But with all of that, it was a good workout as it improves my stamina and flexibility. My aim is to keep on doing this until the end of the year but with that, to improve on my badminton skills as I would most probably join SAISA Badminton soon. This is a great way to prepare for real games during SAISA practice.
