Service plans for DP1

In my previous school I was part of the eco-committee where our goal was to prioritize sustainability for a cleaner and greener BSJ. We planned how we can increase awareness within our BSJ community for these pressing issues and environmental related activities we could do in which people were rewarded with house points.

Furthermore, I also volunteered to direct a video in order to promote awareness of pressing global issues like deforestation, air pollution, and increasing seal levels specifically within Indonesia. Additionally, we also promoted how us as BSJ students could take actions to combat these problems, such as: switching off lights during the day, turning off the AC during online school, taking shorter showers, using less paper & typing instead.

The bottom line of the video was to establish our service group within the school community and disclose our goal of prioritizing sustainability for a cleaner and greener BSJ.

Transferring into OSC as a DP1, I would like to join the Eco schools service group as it is related to what I was involved in before.
