🎯 My CAS Goals :) 🎯

 Creativity:

My overall goal for creativity is to be able improve my singing, acting, and instrumental (piano/guitar) skills by learning new songs and techniques, I plan to do this through:

  • Little Shop of Horrors Musical: this year I am part of the ensemble of Little Shop of Horrors, which is one of my favorite musical. I am so excited to watch it come to life and be a part of the performance, whilst working on my theatre performance skills and improving on weekly rehearsals on Monday, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
  • Senior Voice: As an alto in our school’s high school singing ensemble, I am looking forward to creating beautiful music with other peers, as well as new members of the group, and sharing it with the community through our school’s galas and shows.
  • Instrumental: I will spend at least 20-30 minutes learning new songs and techniques on both the guitar and piano, which I like to play in my freetime as a hobby and a way to clear my mind.

Activity:

My overall goal for activity is to learn how to work collaboratively with others through team sports, as well as being able to improve my athletic abilities, skills, and overall fitness through a variety of sports. I plan to do this through:

  • SAISA Volleyball: My goal is to be a part of a 10-person team travelling to Nepal in a tournament of eleven different international schools in south Asia. Specifically, I want to improve my over-hand serve, as well as my tactical plays as a setter of the team. I plan to do this through attending weekly Tuesday, Friday and Saturday sessions and games against other local schools in the community.

Service:

My overall goal for service is to make a difference in others lives by giving back to my community and providing others that are less fortunate with things that I am privileged to have. I plan on doing this through:

  • SOS Village:  As a service leader this year, my goal for the service is to be able to welcome new students and help them integrate into our service. My goal is to be able to help the children reach a Grade 1 English reading level, and I plan on doing this through making deeper connections with the children from SOS Village through a more structured and hands on learning approach called TPR (Total Physical Response)
