Trinity College London Speech and Drama Grade 7

“Acting is not putting up a mask. Each time an actor acts he does not; he expresses himself”-Jeanne Moreau

Trinity College London is an examinations board based in London, England, which offers graded and diploma qualifications and offers a choice of qualifications for students and teachers of drama and speech subjects with various levels of experience and ability.

I am a Speech and Drama  student at the Trinity College of London and I’m currently in grade 7. Grade 7 requires the students to perform a lyric and a narrative poem written in the 1900’s, a play written before the 1900’s, a prose performed from memory and a conversation with the examiner on the context, interpretation, correct methods of breathing used and the preparation of the selected pieces.

This is a challenging course but I like it because it pushes me out of my comfort zone to take new steps and it helps me to identify my strengths and weaknesses.

The Grade 7 exam went off pretty well and I earned myself a Distinction which is great!!!
