For fulfilling the area of creativity,I decided to volunteer along with Tanay, Calvin, for filming the Oliver Production this year,We were asked to create a small trailer that had to be around 1 minute long. This was a particularly new task for me as I normally take photos but this task was related to shooting videos so I had to learn some new techniques such as stabilizing the camera, what kind of shots to take and in-camera transitions, along with helping to edit the video with Calvin.

Calvin and I had decided to shoot for Oliver on the 26th of October. In the beginning, we started taking some time-lapses with our phones, after that we started to record some introductory footage with the two cameras we had, then I began recording the music band while Calvin recorded the production. We had to always be aware of having the camera stabilized which was a difficult task throughout the shoot, we had to decide what kind of angles and transition would suit the trailer the best, hence even though the act of recording seemed easy, it was more difficult than I had thought. Overall I feel that the outcome of the shoot was good as we had recording plenty of footage for editing.

Editing was a new task for me as I had never really done editing in a professional manner but for fun instead, so this was an opportunity for me to learn new techniques and skills from Calvin such as color correction and speed ramping, this gave the video a nice and cinematic look while looking professional.
