UN Day is held every year and this year’s theme was gender Equality, This is a day where all the students and parents come together to represent the cultural diversities present in the school. Being a new student this was a new thing for me and enjoyed it tremendously.

The day started off with a flag parade and then a brief introduction and speech at the gym, after that we headed off to our assigned classes where the Geography and Economics class worked together with the MUN members to educate students about gender equality,I being the leader was put in a group with 2 MUN members to educate the 6-7 graders about gender equality in education,it was amazing to see the students participate in the activities we had planned,hearing their thoughts about this gender equality and solution to certain problems was interesting as well,overall this was an enjoyable experience.

The best part of the day was trying out different types of food from different countries, it was amazing to see the diversity present in the school and the fact that the parents had worked extremely hard to prepare such delicious and vast amounts of dishes, it was a good ending to such a fabulous day.
