Gym Progress

For the last four months, I have consistently gone to the gym to improve my health and life, become more confident, and create a disciplined mindset. I was hugely inspired by my brother’s dedication to the gym for the last 7 years, and this motivated me to start working out with his guidance. At first, I was a bit confused about what to do and what were the best movements to effectively target my muscle groups but my curiosity led me to watch numerous videos and read multiple studies to understand what I am doing with my body and how each exercise will benefit my muscle groups. After some time, I realized I also needed to work on my diet. After finding out all the macros I needed to consume a day to make progress, I took these all into account and included them in my diet, which would not only help my health but also something I can enjoy eating.

Balance is something I have realized that is important when organizing your life, therefore I came up with a weekly schedule that allowed me to be able to study, go to the gym, and enjoy my free time. In the last month after establishing a proper diet, I have lost around five kilograms and have felt better both in and out of the gym. I also took the tough decision of quitting sugar and have not eaten any for over a month, this not only made it easier to stay away from tempting foods but also made my skin much clearer and healthier. My main goal is to cut down on body fat and increase my muscle mass, so far I’m happy with the results I have which motivates me to push myself harder.
