Our litterature Bonbary.

Hi everyone!

Yesterday connecting with my class of L&L, we went to take a high tea at the Tintagel hotel. In L&L we are studying a play called “The Importance of Being Earnest”. “The Importance of Being Earnest” is a play by Oscar Wilde, first performed in 1895. The play tells the story of two men, Jack Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff, who both assume the identity of a fictional man named Ernest, leading them both to fall in love and find an assortment of problems along the way.

Going to this hotel allowed us to have a more concrete understanding of how the late Victorian society was as it was the society in which the time period of the book. The hotel has a lot of history with the British and was styled in a British way during the late victorian.
