Housing and Habitat.
My service for my Dp2 year is housing and habitat. We are planning on doing multiple events this year. For example we are planning on doing a homerun, we also plan on organizing bake sales. Our other goal for this year is to help another school (Vidyaloga school) in Colombo by building benches, tables and stuff for their library.
Update 03/10/2023:
Last service session we learnt how to use the electric tools like table saw or saw. Most of the tools we learnt to use are tools that are made to cut wood as our goal is to create recycling stuff and to stay eco-friendly as much as possible. We also started to reflect on our first construction for eco-schools, composters. We will start our design and the best materials to use for our composter that can resist humidity and the sri lanka climate.
