On October 19, 2023, I had the pleasure of attending the Books and Cookies event where my friend Hadiya was doing a book review of “Crying in the H Mart” by Michelle Zauner. The event was beautifully captured by ME because, in the yearbook club, I and Avin are the photographer of the events that come in the school.  through my photography, I  was able to capture the essence of the event was truly impressive. It was a delightful evening full of engaging discussions and delicious treats, and Avin and my photography perfectly captured the mood of the event. It was a pleasure to attend and I look forward to the next Books and Cookies event and all the upcoming events to photograph.   photos linked below –

 

On November 1,2023 i had the chance to to click the phtotogrphs for the  book and cookies event in which pep fernando a DP2 student gave an exciting presentation on her Summer internship at the Colombo National museum.  during thee bookies and ccookies me and Avin worked together to click the pictures of the event for the year book. in this event Pep taked about her experience mworking at the mueseum moreover she told us really interesting facts about taxiderming  and she took part in moreover  which was really interesting to hear after that she aslo talked about the culture of the srilanka and how its spread aorund the world overall the sesssion was really insightfull for me and the other students.in terms of the phtos i tried my best to take pictures for different angles while avin had the job of taking the final of the presentor  with his/her presetation at the end of the session.  there is still some room for improvement  for my camera skills  whreas Avin is really experienced  int he feild of photgrphy so i am also learing form him.
