My Trip to Trincomalee!

I went on a trip to Trino (Trincomalee), for a few days with my parents. On one of the days we went to one of the temples they had there, it’s built on and kind of into a rock that over looks water. To get there we drove by the beach and then went through Fort Fredrick, we looked at that on our way to the temple. Once we got to a certain point we got out and walked to the entrance of the temple, when we go there we took our shoes off and started walking. we walked all around the temple and admired it, it was so beautiful!

The next day we drove to Kanniya Hot Water Springs. we parked in a parking lot and walked about five minutes to the entry of the Hot Water Springs. once we went in, we walked to the hot water springs and got to see all the wells.

On the last day we went to Pigeon island which is just off the coast of Trinco. We got on the boat and it took us about 20 minutes to get to the other beach where we got our tickets to get on to pigeon island, then took about 5-10 minutes for us to get to the island. Once we were on the island we got our snorkelling stuff ready and we got into the water and explored the water. We saw beautiful fish, and a lot of coral reefs. We got out of the water and walked to the other side of the island and we got back in the water. We saw a lot of coral on the side, not and many fish, but once we got a bit further out we ended up seeing some sharks. There were about three shraks from what we could see and they were about a meter or two away from us, they were really peaceful and pretty. This was my first time seeing sharks while being in the water with them and it was really cool! After that we got out of the water and got in the boat and heading back to our hotel.

that was the end of our trip and I ended up having a lot pot fun, it was really cool to see all these things and it was really interesting. it was a really good vacation!
