As part of my university application process I was required to create a piece of art or music that was somehow connected to that university. Faced with this challenge, I understood that as a student who does not take arts or theatre this task would require me to be very creative in my own way, which would match my identity. As a result I decided to combine something I am truly passionate about with creativity – that is why I decided to use mathematics to create piece of art of the logo of the university. I have not realized the magnitude of this task before I started and thus I was shocked to find out that the creation took around 6 hours of my time.

Here is the final product: (note the quality of the image is very poor but you can make out the equations on the left)

In order to complete piece of art I had to create very small fragments of the logo which required their own individual equations. It was particularly difficult to create curves using different exponential and logarithmic functions. However, overall the final product was very successful and looks identical to the logo of the university.
