Gecko Gear – Extraordinary Accomplishments

Some exciting news to share with the world is that Gecko Gear successfully made around $1000 during SAISA!!! Being able to share all of our merchandise with the SAISA community was honestly great. Seeing my visions and my goal for this service come to life was a surreal experience. With the help of everyone else in the service and of course Ms. Sue, our supervisor, we were able to accomplish so much in only our first year of operating. Starting SAISA off, we didn’t get that many sales until my friend decided to yell it out loud in the relaxation room that if they wanted to buy merchandise then they could find me. Even though it was annoying at the moment, I’m actually quite grateful for her doing that. It was an extremely busy 3 days and to add to everything, I’ve been sick. I also couldn’t go to any of my classes because of how much there was to do for service, I didn’t get a break at all. On Saturday everything was a lot more chill. But some of the SGA members had to sell for me when I wasn’t around because it was just me working that day. But all in all, we didn’t have much stock remaining which was amazing news to hear. I’m proud of our entire group and everything that we have accomplished so far, can’t wait to see what else is there for us to experience.
