Drum Update

So far my drum lessons are coming along really well. I had to miss a few sessions due to SAISA and being sick but now that I’m back I’m trying to catch up with everything. My teacher has been making me do these exercises every session and I keep forgetting it but oh well! I’ve also been learning a rock beat which is what’s in the video. The rock beat is one of the most basic drum beats that’s used in a variety of songs. It’s fun to play and I also got to play with a metronome which kept me on the beat. So far I’m enjoying this instrument because according to my teacher, I’m catching up quite fast so I think that this is something that I can learn fast.

I’m looking forward to hopefully being able to play sometime in the church because that is my goal so I think that I want to try and organize lessons more than once a week.
