For the CAS project, I wanted to do something that helped me aid my community and the best way I thought that I could contribute was to do something that focused around my service group, Gecko Network. Along side Vinuda and Yoosuf, we have helped document numerous events that have taken place at OSC from such as SAISA sports competitions to art production and other service events. The 3 of us worked with each other to create a digital exhibition of all the events that have taken place for the schools open day to help show the diversity at OSC. We worked with the schools digital marketing team to help broadcast our content which was shown in various location at OSC.
We also helped design GeckoNetwork Inspired T-Shirts so that our service group is highlighted better in our school. This was also partly due to issues that related to the school child safety policy so that people understand that when content is being captured, it is solely for the purpose of the schools community.
