WWW is a program run by OSC where students from MYP-1 all the way to DP-1 travel a week with other class/school mates and discover new areas, cultures, experiences. In MYP 5 and DP 1, students select their choices for their preferred WWW experience. I chose to go to Jaffna, the northern region of Sri Lanka. Others chose to discover the highlands, or down-south and cycling, which is what I chose last year. My trip was a constantly filled with action. We all got very little rest during the entire trip and it all started with a 3:45am arrival at school. Honestly, I like being awake when I know everyone else around me are sleeping. We departed from school to head to the train station for a 7 hour train ride that took us half way. A majority of the trip was used to visit a lot of cultural landmarks such as temples and kovils. We also visited a sacred and religious spring. We got to stop at many different beautiful areas to capture the scenic views with a snapshot of our DSLR’s. Being service leader of GeckoNet,  everyone knows I appreciate a good photo and the opportunity to take one. Here are some of the photos.

Even though this was my last www, I’m happy that it fueled my hunger for creative photography, and I was lucky to be surrounded by people who helped me with this .
